Back-projected onto a touch sensitive screen, viewers are able to intuitively interact with the depicted mechanism. Depending on where the screen is touched, speed of movement can either be accelerated or decelerated. Other interactions cause the installation to alternate between ‘contraptions’, one alluding more to cinematic form, while the other alludes more toward book form.
