A rather earnest construction of a lighthouse and island are framed by the tabletop on which they sit. It eventually becomes apparent that the lighthouse is indeed sending out a rotating beam of light. This beam of light fails to register on all but the closest wall to the table, where the diffuse circle of light slowly starts to anamorphically contort itself until it renders the vivid image of a ship at the shortest distance between the lighthouse and wall. As the beam continues to rotate, the ship ‘sails’ past the lighthouse, returning to a diffuse patch of disappearing light.
