Each monitor features the mirrored image of a female figure facing an open doorway in a scene and costume redolent of cinematic costume drama. In one of the two monitors, this motionless scene is disrupted by the inclusion of a male figure standing in the doorway. In a contorted motion that doesn’t seem to be fully accounted for by its slow speed, the male figure approaches, embraces, then kisses the female figure before returning to his original position in the doorway. Once here, the figure slowly disappears, only to simultaneously reappear in the adjacent monitor, where these actions then repeat themselves ad infinitum.
